Mark Landesman
Mark Landesman (born November 3, 1960) is a prominent business manager in the entertainment industry. He is known for representing Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Arsenio Hall and Tracy Morgan. [1]
Early life[edit]
Landesman grew up in Queens, New York where he attended Queens College in 1978.
Career[edit]
Upon graduation, Landesman joined an accounting firm in New York City. In 1988, he left to become Vice President and CEO of Eddie Murphy Productions. Shortly thereafter, he founded ML Management Partners LLC where he still serves as President and CEO today. MLM now represents over 150 actors, comedians, writers and directors in the industry. [2] Landesman's office is still located in Manhattan today, with a satellite office in Los Angeles. His previous office was featured in The New York Times in 2009. [3]
Awards and nominations[edit]
In 2018, Landesman was named the Variety Magazine Business Manager Elite Honoree [4] and has been named as an Elite Business Manager each year since.
