Mark Warren Lee (April 28, 1956 – April 11, 2021) was an American singer, pianist and architect, best known for performing at the Village People as a replacement of David Hodo as "Construction Worker" between 1982 and 1985. When Mark was part of the group, they recorded two albums together: Fox on the Box and Sex Over The Phone. He also toured with the group at 1983 in South Korea and at 1985 in England.[1]
After Mark Lee left the band in 1985, he first became an architect, but at some point between 1985 and 2008 he became a solo singer and pianist who performed at various venues, most notably Stacy's Bar, located in the city of Palm Springs, where Mark lived. Mark performed as a pianist and solo singer at Stacy's Bar until his death.[2]
Death[edit]
Mark Lee died on April 11, 2021 at 2:30 AM (presumably, died of COVID-19). Shortly after Mark's death, the Stacy's Bar at Palm Springs, where he performed was closed permanently.
