Mark Lvov (born 8 June 1995) is an advocate and entrepreneur, and the founder of the international law firm United Advocates. His life and work span four cities: Moscow, London, New York and Dubai. As the founder of United Advocates, he combines private wealth management with cross-border dispute work. A significant part of his work involves engagement with diplomatic missions and international organisations.

Biography

He grew up in Moscow, where he lived for many years. He has lived in New York for the past six years. He holds Russian, Israeli and British citizenship and was born on 8 June 1995. He speaks Russian, English and Arabic.

Education

He studied at MGIMO University and the Russian Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. He graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He holds a Candidate of Sciences degree in Economics. He continues his studies at Oxford and on programmes offered by Yale University.

Professional practice

Earlier in his career, he worked in government bodies. He manages assets approaching USD 750 million, including real estate, and develops major business projects. His clients and business partners include private clients and entities connected with BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and, in global real estate investment, with Blackstone.

United Advocates handles commercial, tax, corporate and property disputes, cross-border conflicts and international arbitration. The firm works with locally licensed lawyers on foreign-law matters in each jurisdiction. He and his team also work on the purchase and sale of châteaux and historic estates abroad.

Mark Lvov coordinates the firm's team of lawyers and specialist advisers and personally sets the strategy on its principal matters.

In Russia, he is the general director and sole member of Obyedinyonnaya Federatsiya Advokatov LLC and LODZHE 33 LLC. LODZHE 33 LLC's registered principal activity is the leasing and management of real estate; its charter capital is RUB 120.01 million.

Diplomacy and international engagement

His circle includes politicians, diplomats and prominent business figures from several countries. For four consecutive years, his international calendar has included September in New York during United Nations General Assembly week and visits to Geneva in March. In September 2026, he attended events associated with the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

He collaborates with the permanent missions of states to the United Nations on international cooperation and expert participation. He has sent proposals for pro bono expert support to organisations within the UN system, including UNESCO, the IAEA, UNFPA and FAO.

He has been invited by ICC Russia to the 18th ICC Russia International Arbitration Conference in Moscow and by ICC France to its Annual Arbitration Conference in Paris. He participates in international forums dedicated to peacebuilding, intercultural and interfaith dialogue.

Philanthropy

He and his team undertake charitable work, and he is developing his own philanthropic initiatives. These are guided by mutual support, human dignity and a willingness to help without publicity. He believes that helping others does not need to be announced. He supports animal shelters.

Sport

He holds the sports rank of Candidate for Master of Sport in judo. Sport has a place in his life alongside business: tennis, golf and target shooting, including clay target and rifle shooting. In sport, as in law, he values precision, composure and respect for the rules. He has received professional and civic awards.

Art and interests

He collects paintings, and his favourite artist is Mark Rothko. He has participated in Sotheby's and Christie's auctions and attends Art Basel and Frieze. He enjoys architecture and travel and has visited almost every part of the world. He is a member of a Masonic lodge in Scotland.

He writes books — the author of "God Gave You Wings". A special place in his life belongs to his home library: legal classics, history and world literature, gathered over years; he loves books deeply and returns to them constantly — reading for him is not a rest from work, but part of the work itself.
