Market Edge is a Philippine business news program broadcast by the ABS-CBN News Channel.
Anchors[edit]
The program was originally anchored by Cathy Yap-Yang from October 26, 2015, marking her return to Philippine television after many years of being an international anchor on Bloomberg Television, Reuters and CCTV. The program is currently anchored by Michelle Ong from August 6, 2020 when Yang went to PLDT to become head of corporate communications. It airs every Monday to Friday at 09:00 (PST) for Morning Edition & 15:00 For Afternoon Edition (PST).[1]
However, the production of the newscast's 3pm Afternoon edition was halted on March 18, 2020, due to the enhanced community quarantine done to help control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, and was replaced by provisional programming from the DZMM Teleradyo on the same date, as well as the extended edition of Replays of ANC Conversations From April 20, when the timesharing of programming between both DZMM TeleRadyo and ANC ended. It airs Monday-Friday at 9:00 am. On July 8 2020 Yang waz replaced by Michelle Ong.
