Mars Argo is a singer and YouTuber,[1] perhaps best known for her collaborations with former boyfriend and musician Titanic Sinclair.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] They met on MySpace.[9] Their YouTube channel was called grocerybagdottv. They had a show called the Computer Show in which they uploaded regular videos. Their most popular video was "Delete Your Facebook."[10] They also started a band (also called Mars Argo) which featured a wide variety of music from indie pop to electronic rock. The couple moved to Los Angeles in 2012.[10] However the band dispersed after the separation of Argo and Sinclair in 2014. After that, Mars Argo disappeared from the internet.[10]
Consequence of Sound said in a review of Argo's debut album "Technology is a Dead Bird", "The duo, the cutey pie Mars Argo and the not-so-aptly named Titanic Sinclair, deserve your ire. They’re the worst kind of hipster scum; the album’s three little interludes are, from what I can gather, gargled communications either boasting or bemoaning technology and consumerism and being lonely and in love. But when the pretentiousness drops even momentarily, they make intriguing pop music.[11]
