Martin Miko (* November 2, 1994, Bratislava) is a Slovak director, screenwriter and cinematographer who has made more than 200 music videos for Czech, Slovak and foreign performers, as well as dozens of commercials. His greatest success to date is considered to be his work as a video content creator for Robin Sharma (October 18, 2016 - present). In 2020, he co-founded the production company Illuminate Production and the nowqdays successful music label ILLUMINATE, where Puerto (March 11, 2020 - July 18, 2021) worked, and Matúš Kolarovský and Erika Rein.

Robin Sharma is a Canadian writer, speaker and motivator. Author of bestselling books such as 5AM Club and Monk, who sold his Ferrari.

Martin and Robin's first meeting took place in Rome in front of the Pantheon, from where their long-term working relationship took place. Thanks to Robin, Martin has traveled to 21 countries around the world, e.g. South Africa, Canada, USA ... Martin video documented his private project Icon X (an event that deals with business mentoring), which always took place in another country twice a year. From 2017 until the start of the pandemic, he documented the Titan Summit and the Personal Masters Academy, which took place in Toronto.

ILLUMINATE[edit]

At the beginning of 2020, he became a co-founder of the video production company Illuminate production and the music label ILLUMINATE, whose first member was the Latin singer / rapper Puerto. At the end of 2020, Matúš Kolarovský alias Yael and RnB singer Erika Rein joined the music label.

The first media released from the ILLUMINATE workshop was released on April 17, 2022. - Yael Baby, until then, ILLUMINATE was only engaged in publishing singles and shooting video clips from the Slovak and Czech scene.

Among the biggest successes is the song Vdaka ti by Puerto and Yael, which is reworked from the original song by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez- Dákiti, Yael- MY Puerto- Ani neviem.

Professional career[edit]

In 2015, Martin made his first professional music video with the singer Sima.

In 2016, Martin won the main prize in the competition for the best video, organized by Mike Spirit, which was attended by more than 200 creators.

Since 2016, Martin Miko has won his place among the top Slovak music video creators.

He collaborated with well-known names like Aless, Rytmus, Tina, Separ, Majk Spirit, Celeste Buckingham, Dominika Mirgová, Kali, Ego and many more ...
