Maru Springboard America
Maru Springboard America is an online market research panel. The panel is owned and operated by Maru/Blue, a data services firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada, that provides global data connections for brands, agencies, and market research.[1]
History
Maru Springboard America launched in 2009 as Springboard America.[2] The panel was owned and operated by Vision Critical until 2016 when it was bought by Maru Group.[3] The panel rebranded to Maru Springboard America in 2019 to align with its sister panels, Maru Voice Canada and Maru Voice UK, and its parent company Maru/Blue.[4]
Methodology
Maru Springboard America collects survey responses from Americans through an online portal, analyzes the results, and presents the data to a variety of organizations.[5] Maru Springboard America partners with organizations including household brands, government bodies, not-for-profit organizations, and the media.
The panel recruits Americans to sign up and receive surveys through email.[6] The surveys are completed online in exchange for rewards.[7] Rewards are given in the form of points that can be redeemed for gift cards.[8] The panel also runs monthly sweepstakes draws where members can win extra money toward gift cards.[9]
