Maru Voice Canada
Maru Voice Canada is an online market research panel. The panel is owned and operated by Maru/Blue, a data services firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada, that provides global data connections for brands, agencies, and market research.[1]
History
Maru Voice Canada launched in 2006 as Angus Reid Forum.[2] The panel was owned and operated by Vision Critical until 2016 when it was bought by Maru Group.[3] The panel re-branded to Maru Voice Canada in 2018 to align with its parent company Maru/Blue.[4]
Methodology
Maru Voice Canada collects survey responses from Canadians through an online portal, analyzes the results, and presents the data to a variety of organizations.[5] Maru Voice Canada partners with organizations including household brands, government bodies, not-for-profit organizations, and the media.[6]
The panel recruits Canadians to sign up and receive surveys through email.[7] The surveys are completed online in exchange for rewards.[8] Rewards are given in the form of points that can be redeemed for gift cards.[9] The panel also runs monthly sweepstakes draws where members can win extra money toward gift cards.[10]
