Masego Mohwasa (born 27 December 1992) is a Motswana producer, screenwriter, and film director. She wrote and directed Mokwalo (co-directed with Game "Zeus" Bantsi) and the short films Cradle (2021) and Gobe: The Gift (2019). Her films have played at various film festivals and won awards, including the Johannesburg 48-hour Film Festival, at which Gobe: The Gift won various awards.
She is an alumnus of the prestigious Multichoice Talent Factory, having been part of the 2019/2020 cohort of the Southern African campus.[1] Soon after graduating from the programme, Cradle, a short film she, besides producing with fellow alumnus Lorato Orapeleng, wrote and directed, premiered on Showmax.[2]
