"Mashrafe" is a song, sung by Bangladeshi singer Abrar Siam.[1][2] It was featuring by bengali composer Rumman Chowdhury.[1] The song was made available for digital download and streaming on 8 April 2017, through HTM Records. "Mashrafe" was written by lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon.[3][4][5]
Lyrics, composition and tune[edit]
"Mashrafe" was released in (2017). The song was written, by journalist and lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon. He has written a heart touching song attributing Mashrafe Mortaza.[6] The song has been vocaled by Abrar Siam. The music and tune was composed by Rumman Chowdhury. while the production was handled by HTM Records.[5]
Content and history[edit]
In October 2015, on the occasion of Mashrafe Mortaza's birthday, lyricist and journalist Robiul Islam Jibon has written a song to dedicated him.[7] In his Facebook account, Robiul points out the lyrics. He wrote, "my birth day gift to dear Mashrafe".[7]
He wanted to create a music video on "Mashrafe" and started working with Abrar Siam and Rumman Chowdhury.[8]
Tribute to Mashrafe Mortaza[edit]
On 4 April 2017, suddenly Mortaza announced his retirement from twenty20 internationals after Sri Lanka tour.[9] He played his last T20I on 6 April 2017 against Sri Lanka in R. Premadasa Stadium.[10]
Due to the sudden retirement of Mashrafe, Jibon and Rumman could not produce the music video.[11]
On 8 April 2017, in his tribute, they (musicians) released a lyrical music video on HTM Records in YouTube.[12][5] Jibon said that, very soon they are going to make an official music video.[13]
