Master Prabhakar Reddy (DOB. 1983, January 22) is an Indian Martial Artist and Stunt Master. He is the 'First Indian' in achieving Most martial arts kicks by a pair in one minute (male), Most watermelons chopped on the stomach in one minute as per Guinness Book of World Records[1] [2]. Also achieved many national and international records in the field of martial arts. He is currently a sixth (6th) black belt dan.

Early Life

Master Prabhakar Reddy was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India in a middle class family[3]. In his childhood, his family shifted to Hyderabad on his father's job. He entered the field of martial arts at the age of 11. He balanced both his education and his passion for learning martial arts simultaneously.

Career

He started his career by earning a black belt at age 17. He trained in several Indian cities including Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata etc. He was inspired by Shaolin Monk Bodhi Dharma and showed interest in getting training in the Shaolin temple. After a long wait, he got an opportunity from temple trainers and trained as a warrior. Also, he learnt various methods and techniques across the world from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Later he turned his career as a trainer to Indian youth, by making and breaking history records with his stunts to bring awareness about mental health and physical fitness.

Personal Life

He got married to 'Prathima' in 2010 in Nellore. They have two children, Vineel (9) and Hanish Shankar (7).

Records

Prabhakar Reddy started making his records from 2013. He believed that these records would bring fame to the nation and would encourage physical and mental strength in people.[4]

1. In 2013, he performed Vajrasana, which is a part of yoga, for a long time and achieved a Unique World Record.[5]

2. In 2015, he achieved the Limca Book of Records for lighting off candles with his hand punches mostly in one minute.

3. In 2017, he broke the most walnut shells with his hand in one minute and achieved a Guinness Book of World Record.[6]

4. In 2018, he achieved a Guinness Book of World Record for jawalin throws, which is part of martial arts, mostly in one minute.

5. In 2020, he smashed 49 coconuts in one minute with a blindfold and achieved a Guinness Book of World Record.[7]

6. In 2020, he achieved a Guinness Book of World Record for removing 68 bottle caps in one minute with his head.[8][9]
