He received greater fame in the 2000s when he played Bajuri in Trans TV's sitcom Bajaj Bajuri from 2002 until 2007 alongside Rieke Diah Pitaloka, Nani Wijaya, Fanny Fadillah, among others. In 2005, he was briefly absent from the production, citing contract renewal issues with GMM Films.[7] He also played as Haji Sulam in the RCTI soap opera Tukang Bubur Naik Haji from 2012 until 2013.

Fellow Bajaj Bajuri actors and actresses such as MP Rieke Diah Pitaloka and Saleh Ali Bawazier attended his funeral and offered condolences.[2] Rieke mentioned Nasrullah's ongoing land dispute with the state-owned highway company Jasa Marga over the construction of the Cinere–Serpong Toll Road in her Instagram account, and uttered, "I'm sorry abang. I hope you can forgive that Oneng wasn't able to fight for your rights," referencing to her role in Bajaj Bajuri as Bajuri's wife Oneng.[10] Fanny Fadillah spoke on the Trans TV morning show Pagi-Pagi Ambyar describing Nasrullah as someone who's serious but "cares a lot for his fellow actors and crew on set."[11]
