Mati Fusi (born 16 June 1982 in Nauru[1]) is a Tuvaluan former footballer.
Club career
Fusi played from 1990 for Nauru.[citation needed] From 1999–2002, he played for Lautoka F.C.[citation needed] Between 2002 and 2011[2] he played for Tofaga A, and was assistant coach in 2011.[citation needed] Since July 2012, Fusi has been the assistant manager of the Tuvalu national under-17 football team.[citation needed]
International career
Fusi was capped four times by the Tuvalu national football team at the 2007 South Pacific Games.[2][3]
Managing career
Since 2012, Fusi is the manager of FC Tofaga.[citation needed] In July 2019, Fusi, as the head coach of Tuvalu's national football team, presided over a 1-1 tie with American Samoa in the Pacific Games.[4]
