Matsuo Temple is a Kotohira Shrine located in Japan. It worships Konpira Gongen . It is a Bettoji Temple
According to legend Konpira Gongen came into existence when a priest at this temple summoned the Ganges deity Kumbhīra.[1] It is located close to Kotohira-gū[2].
