Matt Jones is a British fashion photographer and director, currently based between New York City & Woodstock.
Personal life[edit]
Matt (born Matthew) Jones is the son of Tricia and Terry Jones[1] renowned British designers, best known as founders and editors of the magazine i-D, and brother to Kayt Jones also a fashion photographer. He is married to the actress Jicky Schnee.
Professional life[edit]
Jones shot his first cover for i-D Magazine when he was twenty years old. He then moved to the United States.
Jones’ photographs have been published in i-D,[2] Vogue Paris,[3] L'uomo Vogue, Italian Elle, French Elle, Elle UK, Flaunt, GQ, Esquire, V Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Paris Vogue Vacances, and InStyle UK.[4]
His advertising client list includes Abercrombie & Fitch, ESPRIT, AllSaints, Urban Outfitters, Shopbop, American Eagle Outfitters, Pantene Pro-V, Yohji Yamamoto Adidas, Lord & Taylor, Barneys New York, and Calzedonia.
He has photographed celebrities including President Barack Obama,[5] Marion Cotillard, Liv Tyler, Alexander McQueen, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Zoë Kravitz, Kristen Stewart, Rihanna, Katie Holmes, Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Elliot Page, Tilda Swinton, Patrick Dempsey, Gwen Stefani, Lindsay Lohan, Jeremy Piven, Jack Black, America Ferrera, Steve Carell, Gisele Bündchen, and Robert Pattinson.
