Matt Roark is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. Roark was born in Lexington, Kentucky, since then he has lived in Acworth, Georgia, where he attended North Cobb High School. [1]
College career[edit]
During college he played for Kentucky Wildcats. Matt Roarke was a wide receiver for the Kentucky Wildcats until his final game, where due to injuries he stepped up to play the quarterback position and went on to defeat the Tennessee Volunteers. He was the first Kentucky quarterback to do so in 25 years.
Pro career[edit]
New England Patriots signed Matt Roark as an undrafted free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was released on July 20th, 2012.
In 2013, Roark played for the Colorado Ice of the Indoor Football League.[2]
