Matthew Jaycox was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Stacy Jaycox, a team leader for Tyson Foods and Christy Brooks, a saleswoman. He lived in Springdale, Arkansas with his parents and two siblings, Madalyn Brooks (born 1993) and Megan Brooks (born 1995) until their parents' eventual divorce at the age of 10 which would lead his mother and two sisters to Russellville, Arkansas for the remainder of his childhood.
After graduating Har-Ber High School at the age of 19, he enlisted in the Marine Corps, however, after being injured in basic training in 2016, he came across the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki which would set him on the path of entrepreneurship and the extremely competitive world of sales.
At age 19, Matthew started his first business called WatchClassy. An E-Commerce business that specialized in the sale of men's wristwatches. Though mildly successful, it would eventually fail teaching Matthew valuable lessons about both starting and running a business. At age 20 Matthew worked with a local real estate investor, helping them rehab and flip homes which lead to a passion in real estate. At age 21 Matthew became a licensed agent in the state of Arkansas and joined Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette. Although on track for the prestigious 2019 Rookie of the Year award, he would make the transition to EXP Realty. An online, cloud-based, agent-owned and publicly traded brokerage where he would go on to build a local team out of Northwest Arkansas with the help of his new mentor, Tom Quirke.
Matthew Jaycox is not currently married nor does he have any children, however, in his spare time he likes to teach young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and to focus on building not just wealth but an everlasting legacy that will have an impact on the world. He holds seminars and teaches best sales techniques and practices.
