Matthew Price (born 7 April in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England is a British journalist, radio broadcaster who currently works as Executive Producer for BBC Radio Jersey and BBC Radio Guernsey.[1]
Education
Matthew Price was educated at Westfield Boys School from September 1976 to July 1983, later studying at the University of Northampton in 1987.[2]
Life and career
Price has worked for the BBC since 1982 as a producer, presenter, journalist and now editor for the Channel Islands TV, radio and digital output. In 2025, Price commentated on the arrival of Charles III to Jersey. Price is often involved in various charity initiatives, including SVP Western Foodbank in 2025, where he took part in an event in thanksgiving and remembrance of Liberation, 80 years of freedom with The Parish Church of St Peter.[3]
Price presents the Sunday breakfast music and faith programme on BBC Radio Jersey and BBC Radio Guernsey.
