Early life
Max was born in Belgium and developed an interest in gaming, computers, and video editing from an early age. Before beginning a career as a content creator, Max taught himself video editing and started creating videos as a hobby. These early editing skills later became the foundation of Max's YouTube career.
Career
Early content (2019–2021)
Max began uploading videos in 2019. The earliest uploads consisted of casual gaming videos and TikTok content. Much of this early work was experimental and has since been removed from the public channels.
Livestreaming (2021–2024)
In 2021, Max hosted the first livestream while participating on a Minecraft Survival Multiplayer (SMP) server.
Throughout 2021 and early 2022, Max streamed occasionally before adopting a weekly livestream schedule during mid-2022. Most broadcasts were livestreamed on Twitch and focused primarily on Fortnite.
By late 2023 and early 2024, Max stepped away from regular livestreaming after experiencing creator burnout and declining viewership. Following this decision, Max shifted focus toward producing edited YouTube videos.
Dutch Fortnite era (2023–2024)
On 13 November 2023, Max uploaded the first Dutch-language Fortnite video, Ontmoeting met RANDOM Speler in Fortnite OG.
The video documented an encounter with a friendly player during the Fortnite OG season. Together with a friend, Max played football with the player before driving toward the safe zone using Quadcrashers. During the journey, the vehicle overturned while descending a hill, causing the player to jump off and die from fall damage.
The video's unscripted nature marked the beginning of a year of Dutch-language Fortnite content. Between late 2023 and November 2024, Max regularly uploaded Fortnite videos that contributed to the growth of the channel.
On 30 November 2024, Max stopped producing Fortnite-focused content after approximately one year, citing creator burnout.
Transition to English content (2025–present)
On 20 April 2025, Max published the first English-language Minecraft video, THE BEST TECH SKYBLOCK MODPACK! #1 | Minecraft Techopolis 3.
The video became Max's highest-performing English-language upload at the time and marked the beginning of the channel's transition toward English-language content.
Since then, Max has primarily focused on Minecraft, factory-building, automation, simulation games, and technical gameplay. The transition eventually led to the creation of the Let's Just Create SMP series, which became the primary focus of the channel.

MaxStudios BE
MaxStudios BE is the creative brand founded by Max and serves as the umbrella organization for several of the creator's projects.
