Maya (cigarette)
Maya is a Luxembourgish brand of cigarettes, currently owned and manufactured by Landewyck Tobacco.[1] The cigarette brand is named after the Maya peoples who lived in Southern Mexico and northern Central America.

The brand was launched in September 2012. The tobacco mixture used in the cigarettes is additive free.
Maya cigarettes are mainly sold in Luxembourg, but are or were also sold in Belgium, France, Austria, Slovenia and Israel.[2]
Landewyck has advertised this brand in a few different ways. In Belgium, a few magazine adverts were made with the slogan "Back to the origin" hinting to the meaning of the brand name, as well as the additive free tobacco. A billboard advert was also created.[3][4]
Besides magazine and billboard adverts, cigarette lighters and ashtrays were also created.[5]
