Mayang Agrofarm is a mushroom farm in Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia. The farm is located at the Mayang Tea Village, Tebakang Mongkos, Serian approximately 60 kilometers away from the capital city, Kuching. It caters to local demand for a variety of edible fungus.

Creation[edit]

Mayang Agrofarm was founded in 2008 by Adwa Eryna Florence Abdullah, a Bidayuh-Muslim businesswoman. The first batch harvested accounted for 2,500 media bags, and the farm now produces around 30,000 media bags.

Recognition[edit]

Mayang Agrofarm has been recognized by local government universities, such as University of Technology Mara (UiTM) and University Putra Malaysia (UPM), as a practical destination for their agriculture students to have internship programs.

Mayang Agrofarm is one of the most successful mushroom farms in Borneo. The farm's "Lady Mushroom" brand is well known and the upcoming "DIY Mushroom Fun Box" will be sold online and delivered worldwide. [1][2]
