Maynooth Philosophical Papers is a biennial peer-reviewed academic journal covering the research of staff and postgraduate students in the philosophy department of Maynooth University. It includes the work of scholars associated with the department, such as visiting speakers. This goal has remained constant in the twenty-year history of the journal, which currently describes itself as publishing “peer-reviewed scholarship fostered by the philosophical community at Maynooth University.”[1] It was established in 2002 at the initiative of the late Thomas A. F. Kelly.
