Mazda L platform
The Mazda L platform is an automobile platform for minivans. It is the basis for the Mazda MPV family. The two generations of the L platform share almost nothing; each was based on a large Mazda sedan, but there is little continuity between them.
LV[edit]
The LV is a rear wheel drive platform with an all wheel drive option. It is based on the HC platform used in the Mazda Luce.
LW[edit]
The LW platform is front wheel drive with an all wheel drive option in some markets. It is based on the GF platform used in the Mazda Capella.
LY[edit]
The LY platform is front wheel drive with an all-wheel drive option in the Japanese market. It is based on the GY platform used in the Mazda Atenza Sport Wagon.
