Mc Alley also known as Biciza[2] is a small town in Jos that has boundaries with Jos North of Plateau State, Nigeria. It is the gateway to the State when coming from Zaria, Kaduna State and Kano State as well, in central Nigeria. The Local Government Area postal code is 930.[3]
Festivals
The major festival of the Anoboze people of Bassa is called Remeze. It is a festival of arts and culture of the Buji People that takes place before the raining season every year.
History
Mc Alley is a town in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The natives of the village are the Buji People. There are a lot of tourist attractions in the village like Ponds, Lakes and Mountains. Christianity was brought to the region by ECWA missionaries who also built a school in Farin Lamba area of the town and in the old village of Gurum. Agriculture in the area includes maize, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, cabbages, watermelon, cucumber, among other crops. The area is well known for mining and quarrying.
