Meade Skelton is an American country music songwriter, singer and keyboardist.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Skelton grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia and began playing music at an early age.[1] He graduated from Leesburg Christian School, Protestant classical 7th-12th grade school in Purcellville, Loundon County, Virginia, in 1997.[7]

At age eighteen Skelton moved to Richmond, Virginia and soon became involved in the music scene.[1]. He ranges from "simple piano lounge love songs to more rollicking keyboard tunes that conjure Bruce Springsteen and Elton John."[8]

In April 2008, Skelton's song "My Loudoun County Home", was performed at the America's Polo Cup held at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia.[7]

The Richmond Times-Dispatch has described Skelton as having "a strong expressive singing voice combined with a heartache meets humor style, and he puts pop, country, jazz, Americana and gospel music into a blender and calls it his own."[1]
