Based in Dallas, Texas, MedPost operates over 39 urgent care centers in eight states.[1] MedPost employs over 400 doctors and medical professionals, with specialties including primary care, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.
The company offers a wide range of walk-in care solutions and focuses on urgent care, pediatrics, wellness, seasonal care, sports physicals, and occupational health. The facilities are equipped with imaging and laboratory services.[2]
History
In May 2014, Tenet Healthcare Corporation rebranded its urgent care centers and launched MedPost, a national network of urgent care centers. At the time of its launch, there were 23 MedPost Urgent Care Centers in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.[3]
By March 2015, the number of urgent care centers had nearly doubled, with 39 centers in the eight states. The company has plans to expand into Boston, Atlanta[4] and San Antonio[5]
