Medhavi Bidhuri (born 29 October 2005, Delhi)[1] is an Indian female cricketer who plays for the Delhi women's cricket team in domestic cricket. She is a right-handed batter and a right-arm leg-spin bowler (all-rounder). She is known for her participation in the women's edition of the Delhi Premier League.
Early life
Medhavi Bidhuri was born on October 29, 2005, in Delhi. She began training in cricket at the local level from a young age. She has represented various age-group cricket clubs in Delhi.
Cricket career
Bidhuri began her career with Delhi's junior women's cricket teams. She represented the Delhi team in the Women's Under-19 One Day Trophy (2023–24) organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Based on her performance, she was included in the training camp for Delhi's senior women's team and the squad for the Senior Women's T20 Trophy.
Delhi Premier League (DPL)
- 2025 Season: In the inaugural edition (2025) of the Delhi Premier League, Bidhuri played for the 'South Delhi Superstars' franchise. In the final match against the Central Delhi Queens, he took 3 crucial wickets for 26 runs in 3 overs, helping his team win the tournament title.
- 2026 Season: She was signed by the 'Central Delhi Queens' team for the 2026 season. In the tournament's opening matches, she claimed two wickets while bowling against her former team, the South Delhi Superstars.
Playing Style and Jersey Number
Bidhuri bowls as a leg-spinner during the opening or middle overs. She primarily plays wearing jersey number 67.
