Meenush

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Meenush, the god of reflection, is the son of Antariksh (the Hindu god of galaxies) and Jharna (the goddess of streams).

Information[edit]

Its is said that when the star studded Antariksh fell in love with the sparkling Jharna, a son was born. Jharna named him "Meenush" after the beautiful fishes (Meena) she adores so much. Meenush grew up to be a handsome young lad, with the inherent strength of his father and the beauty of his mother. He would spend a lot of his time sitting by his mother and gazing at his father, wondering about the stars. His father blessed him with the ability to reflect, so that he could learn from the stars and the skies, and the trees and the bees. And he could reflect on his own experiences and see the beauty of the cosmos unfold in his own thoughts. His mother, with her peaceful and tranquil nature, provided him the subtlety in his reflections. Philosophers and sages find a great pleasure in the company of Meenush.

In pictures, Meenush is depicted like a prince in reflective mood, with a star studded head band. His transport and closest friend is Balaanush, the divine blue whale who can swim though the oceans and fly through the night skies.

When Meenush is not traveling with Balaanush or sitting by his mother, he may be found in the company of Ganesh (the god of intellect and education) and Saraswati(the goddess of knowledge and the arts), who help him keep alive his reflection ability.
