Megan Delay is a Canadian ice hockey defender, currently playing with the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Career[edit]

During her youth, Delay played for teams in the St. Catharines Female Hockey Association. In January 2019, she was named to the Association's Hall of Fame.[1] During high school, she played for the Burlington Barracudas of the Provincial Women's Hockey League.

She spent the 2015-16 season with the SUNY-Plattsburg, scoring 11 points in 27 games for the university's women's hockey programme as it won the NCAA Division III national championship. She returned to her native Ontario the next year, playing for Brock University's women's hockey team.

She picked up one assist in twenty-one games in her rookie professional season, as the Thunder won the Clarkson Cup.[2]

In August 2019, she returned to professional hockey to sign a contract with the NWHL's Buffalo Beauts after having participated in the team's Free Agent Camp.[3] She picked up six points in sixteen games in her debut NWHL season, and added a goal in the Beauts' playoff loss to the Minnesota Whitecaps.[4]
