Brooke White-Lancette

Brooke White (born August 31, 1979) is a women's professional ice hockey player and inaugural member of the Minnesota Whitecaps[1] of the Western Women's Hockey League in 2004. She has also worked as a hockey skills coach.[2][3]

White spent three years at Northwood Prep, where she played in 42 games for the Rockets, had 28 goals and 47 assists for 75 points, and led the Rockets to three consecutive New York State Championships.

White played for the Northeastern Huskies women's ice hockey program. During the 1998–99 season, White played in all 35 games and had a point in each of her first give games, including the game-winning power play goal against Cornell. She is also credited for the winning goal against Colby, and the first two goals in the game. During the 2001–02 season, White led the Huskies with 34 assists.[4] In 2002–03, White led the Huskies in scoring, with 23 points, and 15 assists.[5]

In 2004, she joined the Minnesota Whitecaps in the inaugural season in the Western Women's Hockey League. She played in every Whitecaps season until the WWHL ceased operations including when the Whitecaps' team won the 2010 Clarkson Cup.[6] After taking a few seasons off for family and occasionally playing with the team while it was independent, she returned to the Whitecaps when the team joined the National Women's Hockey League for the 2018–19 season.[7]
