Mel Ghani, born Amel Ghani, was raised and born in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Ghani graduated from James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia. Ghani's passion for politics later pushed him to receive his undergraduate degree in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C., then went on to work on Daniel Gade's Senate campaign in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
