Melbourne (formerly, Melburne)[2] is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California.[1] It is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) west-northwest of Comptche,[2] at an elevation of 167 feet (51 m).[1]
A post office operated at Melbourne from 1901 to 1918.[2]
