Mellody Farm is a shopping center in Vernon Hills, Illinois, which opened on September 28, 2018.[2] It is across the street from Hawthorn Mall and includes REI, HomeGoods, Nordstrom Rack, Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods Market. Barnes & Noble originally opened in 1997 at Hawthorn Mall.[3] The shopping center also has residential buildings in its surrounding area. The first store to open was REI, which opened on September 14, 2018.[4]
