MERAHI Village PAKADI Panchayat DURAUNDHA is situated in Siwan District. People of this village are living in very peaceful manner. This village having very proud history. Merahi is the village of Bihar, India having some amazing nature living life. According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Merahi village is 232578. Merahi village is located in Hasanpura subdivision of Siwan district in Bihar, India. It is situated 7km away from sub-district headquarter Hasanpura (tehsildar office) and 15km away from district headquarter Siwan. As per 2009 stats, Pakari is the gram panchayat of Merahi village.
The total geographical area of village is 258.8 hectares. Merahi has a total population of 1,829 peoples, out of which male population is 819 while female population is 1,010. Literacy rate of merahi village is 63.04% out of which 69.11% males and 58.12% females are literate. There are about 291 houses in merahi village.[4]
