Merchant Street Records previously named "PBG Community Service" is a distribution that is apart of Evergreen Group Station. It was founded September 22, 2019 and was Defunct on February 29, 1996. It was defunct by PBG Productions as a record label.

Defunct[edit]

Merchant Street Records previously known as a service owning PBG Productions was defunct on February 29, 1996. This service was a PBG Production campus. It is considered to be located in Memphis, Tennessee in Evergreen. It was named "PBG Community Record Label". The defunct lasted until 2007 when PBG Productions took over the Evergreen Service. From the 1996-1997 year, Merchant Street Records gained at least 500 artists and 800 producers. Two years later in 1999 it gained 1,000 artists and 900 producers. As Evergreen Group Station states, this record label only had a net worth of 5M dollars during the 2003-2004 year.


"Renaming Groups From PBG Productions"

In 2007 after the defunct PBG Community lost 250 artists and 99 producers. After it had lost that amount of people PBG Productions was losing people as well but lost a net worth of $2M dollars. Also this is why PBG Productions was seperated from Evergreen in Memphis, Tennessee. PBG Productions started renaming its groups in 2008.

Renamed and Founded[edit]

After PBG Productions lost its mergement and got seperated in February 2019 Evergreen Group Station and other groups had a meeting about Renaming and by the foundation of PBG Community Record Label. They decided to rename it "Merchant Street Records" and it also make it's distribution. This meeting was made on April 22, 2019.

"Evergreen Group Station Signed to PBG Community (June 2019)"

On June 1, 2019 Evergreen Group Station signed to PBG Community Record Label to disclose the service and block it from PBG Productions. This lasted until September. Three weeks later, after PBG Productions was demolished and closed down. Its service was added to Evergreen Group List.

"Service Getting Purchased"

On August 15, 2019 Evergreen Group Station purchased PBG Community Record Label and closed it's building down until a month later. The service was worth for $300,000 dollars in 2019.

"Renaming the Service"

In September 2019 Evergreen Group Station finished the purchase and owned PBG Community. It was renamed "Merchant Street Records". Evergreen Group Station also made it as a distributor. But it didn't open until October. On October 22, 2019 the distribution first opened.



Hiring[edit]

Merchant Street Records started hiring on November 2, 2019, after it was opened a week earlier. It hired it's first set of 100 artists and 56 producers. The second hiring began on November 26 when Evergreen Group Station helped the distribution by hiring at least 250 artists and 100 artists. As of August 2020 there are at least about 150 artists and 120 producers that are signed in the distribution. Evergreen Group Station also has the same amount as well.

Music Division[edit]

Merchant Street Records serves division to all artists. That's is only for artists that are signed to Evergreen Group Station. For the artists that are not signed to Evergreen Group Station, their music don't get a copyright infringement. They music get a copyright warning that is only if they music is shared on YouTube.
