PBG Productions (PBG) was the record label that was serving the neighborhood of Evergreen in Memphis, Tennessee. It was merged in 2019 to Evergreen Group Station. This record label was the largest company in Memphis, Tennessee.

History[edit]

PBG Productions was founded in 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee by David Clarkson. The foundation started in 1985 when David bought it's purchase. It started it first net worth in 1992. Its parent company is Rocky Rap Studios since 1998. PBG Productions only worth $8M dollars. It gained more than Evergreen Group Station and Merchant Street Records. But since Merchant Street Records was a service owning the record label it gained more.


Merged by The City Of Memphis 2000

PBG Productions was merged by The City Of Memphis on September 22, 2000. Because the record label hired at least 1,000 artists and 989 producers in 1998 after Rocky Rap Studios became it's parent company. After being merged as the results say this record label was the largest company in Memphis, Tennessee.


Hiring[edit]

PBG Productions started opening on January 8, 1988. It started hiring on January 12 and served at least 280 artists and 137 producers. In 1998 after Rocky Rap Studios became it's parent the record label served at least 1,000 artists and 989 producers. Also this record label was serving the largest number of people in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1994 the record label hired the first producer "Mike Leans". The Last hire is not included in this section.

Merging and Seperation[edit]

In 2018 the mixing engineer told Evergreen Group Station that they are disclosing PBG Productions and it's distributor. The merge started January 1, 2019. The PBG Company told the staff to merge EGS and PBG as by seperating PBG Productions from Evergreen and merging the record label with Evergreen Group Station. Because of PBG being merged in 1998 and PBG Productions losing 418 artists in 2018 and also for being the largest record company in Memphis, Tennessee.

Last Hiring January 17, 2019 - February 10, 2019

On January 17, 2019 it started its last hire. PBG Productions only gained 77 artists and 8 producers. Progress was slow at the time. Also on January 21 it gained 20 more artists at time. On January 24 The CEO of the record label told all the staff to get more artists to join PBG Productions. But the record label only gained bout five more artists.

On January 25 the record label lost 12 artists and 7 producers. On January 27 the record label hired more artists. It only gained 35 artists and no producers. On January 30 the record label lost 17 artists. On February 1, the record label started losing artists. It lost 22 artists and no producers. The producers stop losing its amount and started gaining. On February 4 the record label was put on the Evergreen List and started closing February 7. On February 6 all artists left and producers. On February 7 it was closed. On February 10 it was removed from Evergreen and was moved to East, Memphis on February 12. When PBG Productions was merged to Evergreen Group Station, there was no record company being the largest to smallest. Evergreen Group Station was the largest record label too but not like PBG Productions. Evergreen Group Station only served 650 artists in 2010. As of today PBG Productions is an empty slot record label and is under the residents of Evergreen Group Station and Merchant Street Records.


Facility of Demolition[edit]

Starting Demolition Process

On March 1, 2019 Evergreen Group Station was first introduced to the Evergreen neighborhood. They started renaming groups from PBG Productions on March 24, 2019. It took Evergreen Group Station from March - November to take over all the groups from PBG Productions. All groups are now remained to EGS. In April 2019, PBG Music Publishing was renamed to Evergreen Flims. They also made it as an film music production.

Demolished

In May 2019 Evergreen Group Station decided to sign PBG Productions to the Facility of Demolition, as by making a way to tear down the building. In addition, PBG Productions was located on Hickory Hill Road on the eastside of Memphis. It was standing on a 240 square foot 3.7 acre lot. But the building was abandoned every since it was moved there in February. The effect date for the demolition was June 15, 2019. On June 15 it was demolished. There is no more PBG Productions. The company still remains as Evergreen Group Station.
