MergersCorp was engaged by an American listed company for strategic acquisition negotiations concerning an Italian soccer team.[7] [8] The firm's role was also relevant in the potential acquisition of Foggia Calcio by a U.S. Private Equity Fund, where the firm offered strategic advisory service bridging Europe and the United States.[9][10] [11][12] [13] [14] [15] The same occurred with the takeover of the historical Italian soccer Club Ascoli by another US Investment Fund and when the firm successfully supported an American High-net-worth individual in the sponsorship of the historic Italian club Fidelis Andria 2018 and when the firm facilitated the acquisition of King's Lynn Town F.C. in the United Kingdom by a Chinese-owned private equity fund from Singapore.[16][17][18][19][20][21]

The firm was also relevant during the acquisition of a minority stake in Italian football club "Crema Calcio 1908" by a Finnish strategic investor group and played a role in the sale of the Italian professional club FC Olbia Calcio 1905 to a Swiss financial company.[22] [23] [24] Additionally, MergersCorp supported the first division historical Cypriot football club APOEL FC in finding a capital investor in the United States.[25] Beyond sports, MergersCorp has been involved in other notable transactions in the energy sector. In May 2024, the London Stock Exchange reported that a Canadian-listed company completed the acquisition of a portfolio of Italian solar energy assets with the advisory support of MergersCorp.[26][27][28] Furthermore, the firm has also supported government institutions like KOTRA in enhancing M&A business opportunities in the United States and French state-controlled companies to purchase companies in different jurisdictions.[29][30]
