Met Headquarters
Met Headquarters was a portfolio or department within the organisation and structure of the Metropolitan Police.
It had a director each for:[1]
- Media and Communication
- Legal Services
- Human Resources
- Strategy & Governance
- Transformation[lower-alpha 1]
- Property Services (formerly known as Portfolio and Planning)
- Finance
- Commercial
It also covered Shared Support Services.[2] Above the eight directors, the department's senior leadership team consisted of an acting head (Roisha Hughes as of 2022–2023), a CONNECT Senior Responsibility Officer, a director without portfolio and a deputy assistant commissioner (Corporate Services).
In 2023, Met Headquarters' responsibilities were divided between four new independent portfolios - People and Resources, Communications and Engagement, Strategy and Transformation, and Digital, Data and Technology.[3]
