Meta-Dialectic
Meta Dialectic (or Meta-Dialectic(s)) represents a concept of the General philosophy formulated primarily by professor Igor R. Janev who discovered a new dialectical principles in addition to Classical ones formulated in Marxist and Hegelian philosophy, by extenednig those with principles of the General System Theory (GST). The general philosophy that focused on the cause of the universal motion and movement/changes (dynamics) is mostly based on the four universal dialectic principles (Hegel, 1977; Engels, 1968): 1) in anything (or to put it: Everything that is), any structure or element, there is in eternal unity of internal (conflicting) contradictions, that are condition(s) of any and all changes in the (material or spiritual) world or Everything that is –E (including its element(s)). As result of this dynamical dialectical principle any element, depending on time dimension, a is generally never absolutely identical to itself (a ≢ a), 2) another formal principle is of negation of (any) negation (double negation), as a necessary principle for dialectical Synthesis, 3) transition of the quantity into a quality at a critical level of the quantity; 4) Eternal change and development of the Everything that is (E), as the systemic result of the unity of conflicting contradictions systemically interconnected and the dynamics of double negation, and the total inter-connection and interaction between all elements and structures. The basic premises of general systems theory (GST) are similar to the principles of dialectic doctrine. They are: 1) the totality of a system of elements and their interactions creates regime; 2) the openness (also in a logical sense) of this totality is the main feature of the dynamic regime; 3) there is a dynamical, inter-connected movement and change of any point, pole and element of this “totality“, as well as a (dynamical) creation of collective features and collective behavior. This principle includes synergism and introduces collective variables characterizing the system as a whole; 4) there is an influence of any element to any other regime’s element, and to the dynamics of “totality“, as a whole; 5) there is dynamic self-regulation of all collective movements of the elements, poles and the “totality“. His contribution was/is focused on methodology in an attempt answers the most fundamental question as “Why everything (that is) exists” (and not just nothing). In dialectical manner a question is equivalent to the “paradox of the basic element” (absurdity of division of material elements to infinity). He discovered irreducible contradiction-al relation between Nothingness (N), as a systemic pole, and on the other side Everything (E), as another non-sufficient pole of fundamental relation, where poles are in non-separable systemic relation. Using the principles of dialectic methodology and general systems theory (GST), it was logically derived that the existence of the opposing poles {E}<->{N}, (where E- everything, N- nothingness)) in the ontological problem related to the “paradox of the basic element” suggests inseparability of poles in relation relation uniting them as basic systemic entity.
Therefore, an answer to the basic ontological question of existence (of everything) author found in his new methodological concept of dialectical relationism that solves the question of elementaristic paradox. As a result of our study of logical operations, Janev concluded that Everything that exits (E) and Nothingness (N) represent logically irreducible (systemic) category (or fundamental entity) and that (E) and (N) were being inseparable and in contradiction to each other. These basic elements are mutually connected as an interaction, forming a system as interacting poles were Nothingness (N) may not be possible without the other pole (E). The most essential characteristics of this system is the intrinsic inter-connection of E and N without which neither of them can be, nor the system they form can exist. This intrinsic inter-connection of E and N in the system constitutes a relation between E and N that makes the system possible, and thus reduces the basic ontological question of philosophy (Why Everything (that) exits?) to absurd.[1]I comparison to Classical dialectics, Dialectic Relationism (intrinsic inter-connection of E and N) placing relation rather then element as the most fundamental category here encompass both conflicting contradictions and anti-contradiction(s), with their respective intensities (as a measures of interactions or the strength of the Force (F).[2]In addition, Janev claimed that due to systemis dialectics there is a new so far not seen dialectical principle of non-constant changes in the world related to acceleration of E. When we reduce the main Dialectical logical essence of the cause (and consequences) for any (material) changes to the unity of conflicting contradictions, placing contradicting interaction (as a basic relation(s) in the center of a systemic research, we in fact find striking resemblance of these dialectical theory/methodology with the I. Newton’s interpretation of psychical changes in material world through the change of speed (v) (or mathematically: acceleration-a), deriving Newton to logical conclusion that the Force (F) is the General cause of any movement and all changes (of elements and in the World). Namely, the change of the velocity-v (by definition an acceleration (a)) is caused by the material physical Force (F) that provides material elements with mass (m), or bodies and/or particles to start moving (or changing previous movement, i.e. v), and in fact Newton’s interpretation concluded more generally that force (F) is actually measured by that acceleration of the given mass (m) in the form of the product: F=m*a. If we for instance apply these theory on the phenomena of mechanical pressure, we can easily comprehend that a difference in potentials (p1-p2) represent the main cause of movement caused by the Force (F). It is strikingly similar mathematical form as a difference in impulses (p1-p2=dp= F). In addition, in physics for instance, an Electromotive force (EMF- a source like a common battery that provides to drive electrical current through a circuit, measured in volts) by definition is mathematically represented by the difference in electrical potentials (again: p1-p2) between (two) differently charged electrical poles, that cause electricity to move in direction of the lower potential. Generally speaking, here again we observe the General contradiction in the form of the difference in potentials (in its unity). Therefore, as it seems to be true is that in comprehensive Dialectical model based on systemic eternal movement, the fundamental category of an acceleration is omitted in methodology and that simple principle of infinite comprehensive and eternal movement (i.e. v), those not satisfy natural and only possible logic that only change in velocity is the crucial start point category, and not just the plain velocity (v), as implied in the Classical model of dialectics. Namely, mathematically the first Derivative of the velocity (v), as dv/dt equals acceleration (a). Therefore, on Ontological level with respect to Everything (E), were General Philosophy explained plain material world as structured from, by definition: Substance and Energy (plus physical field), "we may observe existence of an omitted category in physical Materialism, i.e. the Force." According to the Dialectical Relationism omitted fundamental element at least in material world is the Force - F (irreducible interaction) that appears to be more crucial and basic category than the Energy and (even) Substance, as such. [3] In non-materialistic approach, in the absence of material Substance, for instance, idealistic concept of the Force may lead us to more fundamental Ontological conclusion(s), such as prove(s) for existence of the God(s) and different world (E) than the ours (or known to the present Ontology).[4]
