History[edit]
Mfidie was officially launched in February 2017 by Shepherd Yaw Morttey, a graduate of the University of Cape Coast. Prior to Mfidie.com going live, there were a host of other technology blogs in Ghana but these were often rarely updated or had shifted their focus from technology to other topics. In February 2017, Mfidie outdoored their two main social media accounts. These were a Facebook account and a Twitter Account. An instagram account was later added. The social media accounts were used as a means to share all posts that were made on the blog. As at the end of April 2017, the Facebook page alone had over 24,000 likes.[2]
