Executive produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment, and sponsored nationwide by CIROC Vodka, the television special featured the following five segments and celebrity hosts: Chicago with Pete Wentz, Miami with Kourtney Kardashian, Vale with Taryn Manning, and New York with Tyrese Gibson, respectively. Additionally, the Mic Check LIVE segment in New York, which was directed and produced by Cyrus Ahanchian and executive produced by Ms. Lauryn Hill, Josh Boumel, and Mojoflo Productions, showcased the first televised lived performance of Ms. Lauryn Hill, since her controversial extended absence from the media. Serving as the official grand opening of the Gansevoort Park Hotel, the Mic Check LIVE segment also starred celebrity appearances from Dylan McDermott, Gina Gershon, Ciara, Rob Morrow, Edi Gathegi, and Malinda Williams.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
