Reverend MichaelAngelo D'Arrigo is an Elder/Priest in the Convergent Christian Communion, where he serves as Canon to the Presiding Bishop.
Early Life[edit]
Born in New York to first-generation Sicilian-American parents, M.A. was raised in a Pre-Vatican II Roman Catholic church. He grew up loving the rich ceremony and rhythms of the Mass. He began playing music at age 6, and played his first pro gig at 13, at The Bottom Line in New York City.
Career[edit]
Reverend MichaelAngelo D'Arrigo is an Elder/Priest in the Convergent Christian Communion and Canon to the Presiding Bishop. Active member in the Independent Sacramental Movement. Independent/Convergent Catholic.
He was ordained to the Anglican Priesthood in 2006. He has worked in parish ministries specializing in Pastoral Counseling and Liturgical Writing, as a missionary to the homeless community in Atlanta, and then went on to work with non-denominational churches in Pastoral Counseling and Music Ministry.
In 2012, the Holy Spirit led him to start Metanoia Ministries, which later transformed into Agape Fellowship of Greater Atlanta. He is steadfast in his mission to spread the Good News to all and to counsel, teach, and provide others the tools they need to work and grow in their salvation.
Personal Life[edit]
M.A. lives in the Metropolitan Atlanta area with his wife, Claudia, a Therapeutic Reflexologist; his son, D'Mitri, a high schooler; two doggies; and a cat. Before ordination, he worked as a professional musician and as a substance abuse counselor.
