Michael Archinal

Michael Archinal (born 20 August 1963) is an Australian veterinarian. He is the owner of one of Australia's biggest mixed animal veterinary hospitals, Canberra Veterinary Hospital. Since 2001, he has worked as a TV presenter under the name Dr. Ark on the Nine Network show Mornings with Kerri-Anne. He has also been featured on talk-back ABC Radio and written for Dogs Life magazine.[1]

Education[edit]

Archinal was born in Sydney, Australia. He attended Marcellin College Randwick from 1973 to 1982 and then studied veterinary science at Sydney University, graduating in 1987.[citation needed] Since then he has undertaken post-graduate study in dermatology, animal behavior and is a qualified acupuncturist.[1] He completed his preliminary theology certificate in 2006.[citation needed]

Media Appearances[edit]

Archinal featured on a talk back program for ABC Radio where he covered a wide range of topics, and he is a regular on the television program Mornings With Kerri Anne. He features every Thursday morning and speaks on topics ranging from alternative treatments to alternative pets, and is described as one of the show's most popular presenters.[1]

Archinal is also a consultant and writer for the Australian nationally distributed Dogs Life magazine.[2]
