Michael Cikos (born 18 April 1986 in Hechingen) is a German football coach. [1]

Playing career

Cikos graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. During his career, he played as a defender and holding midfielder. He retired after sustaining a meniscus injury.

Coaching career

He began working as a youth coach in 2007, at his home club TSV Boll. From September 2010 to July 2012, he was a coordinator and youth coach at JSG Hechingen. He later returned to TSV Boll as the U17 coach. [2][3] His teams participated in international youth tournaments in Austria, France, and Italy.

Cikos currently holds a UEFA B-Licence. In October 2013, he joined an educational coaching trip to Barcelona, Spain in cooperation with the German Football Association. In November, Cikos was a guest student at the junior section of FC Hansa Rostock. Its U19 coach is Roland Kroos, father of Toni Kroos.

In February 2014, he became academy director in Thailand at Roi Et United F.C., overseeing the club's sports and youth development, and also taking charge of the U17 academy team.

He then became an assistant coach to Mika Lönnström at Police United in the Thai Premier League, also responsible for video analysis.
