Michael Cornelious is an American gridiron football wide receiver who plays for the Mexicas de la Ciudad de México of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA). He previously played indoor football for the Gillette Mustangs in 2023. Cornelious played college football at Valley City State University after beginning his collegiate career playing basketball at Rochester Community and Technical College and Valley City State.
Early life
Cornelious grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended Highland Park High School where he lettered in both basketball and football.[1]
College career
Cornelious began his collegiate athletics career as a basketball player at Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) in 2016–17 and 2017–18 before transferring to Valley City State University where he played both basketball and football.
Basketball
Cornelious played two seasons at RCTC, averaging 9.7 and 9.9 points per game respectively.[2]
At Valley City State, he played two additional seasons from 2018 to 2020.
