Michael Duek is an American professional poker player who finished third back-to-back (2022) in the World Championship of Texas Hold'em and the World Championship of Omaha Hold'em (8-Handed) for $4,000,000 and $548,015, respectively.[2][3]
At nosebleed stakes, a term used to denote a player at the highest stakes, Duek finished tenth in the $100,000 + 4,000 Pot Limit Omaha - PLO Main Event (Event #13) at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series for $176,000[4] but has also competed in various tournaments with a buy-in swift of $25,000 with a best result coming in 2022 when he finished second in the $25,500 Pot Limit Omaha - High Roller (Event 24) at Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for $295,412.[5]
