Michael John Hardy (30 July 1929 – 19 February 1992) was an English cricketer. Hardy was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Hendon, Middlesex.

Hardy made his only first-class appearance for DR Jardine's XI against Oxford University in 1958.[1] In Douglas Jardine's XI first-innings he was dismissed for a duck by Ian Gibson. In their second-innings, he scored 15 runs before being dismissed by the same bowler. Hardy took a single wicket in the Oxford University first-innings, that of Roy Woodcock for the cost of 35 runs from 9 overs.[2]

Having played Minor Counties Championship cricket for the Middlesex Second XI from 1950 to 1952, Hardy later represented Buckinghamshire in the competition from 1959 to 1964, playing his final match against Oxfordshire.[3]

He died in Glamorgan, Wales on 19 February 1992.
