Michael Lorin Reed
Dr. Michael Lorin Reed is a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University in the Department of Dermatology.[1] He is an expert in the treatment of hair loss disorders in women and has been featured on The View, MSNBC, and ABC News Tonight.[2] He is a board certified dermatologist in New York City, specializing in General Dermatology, Sclerotherapy, and Hair transplantation, with a subspecialty in the medical and surgical treatment of hair and scalp disorders.[3]

Dr. Reed graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science from Pennsylvania State University, where he was fifth in his class and first in Science. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. In 1974, he graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society. He did his Internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center (Medicine) from 1974–1975, and his Residency Training at the NYU Medical Center (Dermatology) from 1975-1978. In 1978, he became a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology and currently belongs to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and the American Society for Hair Restoration Surgery, among others.
