Michael Nemelka is an American lawyer and government official serving as the Deputy United States Trade Representative for investment, services, labor, environment, Africa, China and the Western Hemisphere.[1][2]
Before his confirmation, Nemelka served as Special Advisor to Ambassador Robert E. Lighthizer, the United States Trade Representative. [1] Before joining government service, Mr. Nemelka was a partner at Kellogg, Hansen, Todd, Figel & Frederick, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation. [1] [3]
Nemelka clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit for Judge Paul V. Niemeyer. [1]
