Michael Steel (press secretary)

Michael Steel (born February 5, 1977) is the spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. Steel has previously worked as the press secretary for Representatives John Shadegg and Jim McCrery. He is a native of Durham, North Carolina. He has previously written for the National Journal.
